Inforuption (“we,” “the app”) is a sports announcement app for iPhone. This policy describes what we collect, why, and who else is involved. The public URL for this policy is https://inforuption.com/privacy.html.

Who we are

Inforuption is operated as a small independent app. Support: inforuption@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account. Sign in with Apple or Google. We receive a Firebase Auth user ID and, when the provider shares it, an email address and name.
• App data you create. Favorite teams, followed games, time zone, Bluetooth-speaker preference, and (if you use it) Sonos room choices and tokens needed to play a short clip on your speakers.
• Push token. An FCM device token so we can send score notifications and audio clips.
• Subscription status. Whether you are in the 30-day trial (based on account created date) or subscribed to Premium via Apple In-App Purchase / RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card number.
• Diagnostics. Basic crash and function logs in Firebase. We do not sell advertising profiles.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for contacts, precise location, photos, or microphone audio from your environment. Text-to-speech runs in our cloud to build the announcement MP3; that text is the score script, not your voice.

Why we collect it

To create your account, remember teams and follows, send the right free or Premium clip, play that clip on your phone, Bluetooth speaker, or Sonos, and process the $2.99/month Premium subscription.

Who else sees data

• Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, In-App Purchase)
• Google (Sign in with Google, Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Storage)
• RevenueCat (subscription status)
• Sonos (only if you connect a household; OAuth tokens and selected players)
• Sports schedule/score providers used to build announcements (game data, not your identity)

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising networks.

Retention

Account and favorites stay until you delete the account or ask us to remove them. Announcement audio files in storage may be deleted on a rolling basis. Subscription records follow Apple and RevenueCat retention rules.

Your choices

You can sign out in Settings. You can stop following games and disconnect Sonos. To request deletion of your Inforuption account and Firestore user document, email inforuption@gmail.com from the address on the account. Apple and Google keep their own copies of sign-in data under their policies.

Children

Inforuption is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We will update this page when the practice changes and change the date above.
